Poetry Submission
Rules:
We are excited to
announce the Poetry Submission Contest that will begin Wednesday January 13, 2010
and will end on February
14, 2010.
Poetry
submissions must be submitted between 1/13/10-2/14/10
Submissions will
only be accepted at the support group’s forum “Support for Creative and
Inspirational writers” follow the link above to go directly to the site.
The purpose of
this project is to give members first hand experience on how to “critique a
poem” (If you are not sure how to review a work, don’t worry, we will have a
topic for you to view titled how to critique written work, on the site!)
****No in box
messages will be considered as a Submission.
All entries must be posted to the
site.
How to Submit
Poem
1)
Go to
the “Support for Creative and Inspirational writers” site
2)
Click
on the Discussions tab at the top of page
3)
Go to
the topic Poetry Submission (this is the only way to submit your poem).
4)
Write
your poem! Once posted, you will have that signature post as your proof that
this is truly YOUR work. (*****Plagiarism is defined as the copying, illegal
use or breach of anothers work that is not your own. This will not be
tolerated)
5)
Submit by clicking on the reply button at the
bottom of the page.
Exclusions:
Administration
may post a poem, but may not be included in the winning status of the
submission.

***If you have
won another promotion within the last 60 days.
*** No negative
verbal, racial, gender, sexual disrespect within poetry.
(Sensuality and
all other forms of expression are allowed)
If any of these
exclusions are ignored, the post will automatically be deleted and will not be
reviewed.
How to win:
A) Do your best, write from within

Double
check your work before publishing to the post
C)
Be
Creative
Based on feed
back from other members concerning content, clarity, understanding of the material
submitted and the strength in Creative and/or Inspirational thought will be the
deciding factors to the winning poem.
-The Staff will
review and give their opinion collectively.
Winner will be
announced on Feb
16, 2010
Winner will
receive a $20.00 Wall Mart gift card!
